Skywalker Vineyards Chardonnay Marin County 2023 750ml
Our Chardonnay was hand-harvested early in the morning from late September into early October 2022. This wine was whole cluster pressed, followed by cold settling in stainless tanks before going to barrel for fermentation. The slow fermentation in barrel allowed for exuberant tropical & citrus aromas, in addition to offering a compelling texture across the palate. Post fermentation sur lie stirring and aging added additional layers of complexity in our winemaking process. Aged 14 months in French Oak.
The 2022 Skywalker Chardonnay showcases the unique coastal climate and Marin County terroir. Generous fruit aromas of lemon, lychee and white flower blossom are accentuated by delicate sweet oak nuances and a briny minerality. On first taste flavors of pineapple, pomelo and citrus are present. The palate is crisp on entry followed by richer flavors of hazelnut, brioche and crème brûlée leading way to a long finish.

Please be aware that extreme cold or heat can cause damage to wine. If temperatures in your area are below freezing or above 80 degrees for a sustained period of time, please advise us to hold your wine until the weather is milder, or to upgrade to an expedited shipping method.
Your wines will be shipped by us in perfect condition and any damage incurred due to weather is not covered by the shipping company insurance, or guaranteed by us. We will gladly store your wine in our temperature-controlled cellar until the weather is more suitable for shipping.
Due to the increasing difficulty of shipping wine & spirits, shipments may take longer than expected, and expedited shipping methods are not available. We apologize for any inconvenience.

All other States: UPS Ground 4-8 business days
An email will immediately acknowledge receipt of your order, while a second email will confirm your order has been processed and is prepared for shipment.
