Six Cloves Linda Vista Chardonnay 2022 750 ML
Our fourth vintage of Linda Vista Chardonnay was brought into the winery on September 1st. One of the most beloved viticulturists in Napa Valley, Steve Matthiasson, provided us with wonderful grapes that were tended by his great viticultural team. Linda Vista Vineyard sits on a silty loam site in the southwest part of a cooler and quieter area in the Oak Knoll District. Over 25-year-old vines were originally planted by the Beringer family, and Steve has been farming and producing great Chardonnay since 2011. This organically grown Chardonnay (CCOF Certified Organic) came in with more maturity than the previous year. We pressed them gently in whole clusters, barrel-fermented them in about 20 % new French oak with indigenous yeast, and aged them in barrels on the lees.
Notes
The Olmo clone’s distinctive high acidity and citrus characters are present in vintage 2022 as usual, with more stone fruit characters being prominent in aroma and mouthfeel. The wine exhibits its flagship characteristics of a toasted hazelnut nose, a round texture in the midpalate, and balanced, pleasant acidity in the finish.

Please be aware that extreme cold or heat can cause damage to wine. If temperatures in your area are below freezing or above 80 degrees for a sustained period of time, please advise us to hold your wine until the weather is milder, or to upgrade to an expedited shipping method.
Your wines will be shipped by us in perfect condition and any damage incurred due to weather is not covered by the shipping company insurance, or guaranteed by us. We will gladly store your wine in our temperature-controlled cellar until the weather is more suitable for shipping.
Due to the increasing difficulty of shipping wine & spirits, shipments may take longer than expected, and expedited shipping methods are not available. We apologize for any inconvenience.
