Imagine a mountain peak that fell down onto the valley floor a few million years ago during a particularly bad series of earthquakes. As it came to rest the "layer cake" of soil epochs turned vertical exposing rarely seen soil constructs. Add to this that the Hoxsey family has been farming grapes in the Napa Valley since 1903 and you get one of the most unusual and celebrated vineyards in the Napa Valley. Kendall Hoxsey cares for the vineyard with minimal intervention (no hedging, full vine expression, etc.) and continues her father's pioneering commitment to Certified Organic grape growing.
The wine interprets this extraordinary place with soft, plush tannins and nervous, bright acidity. Down-valley cool mornings add a touch of black tea and rose petal to the varietal traits of blackberry and cassis.

Please be aware that extreme cold or heat can cause damage to wine. If temperatures in your area are below freezing or above 80 degrees for a sustained period of time, please advise us to hold your wine until the weather is milder, or to upgrade to an expedited shipping method.
Your wines will be shipped by us in perfect condition and any damage incurred due to weather is not covered by the shipping company insurance, or guaranteed by us. We will gladly store your wine in our temperature-controlled cellar until the weather is more suitable for shipping.
Due to the increasing difficulty of shipping wine & spirits, shipments may take longer than expected, and expedited shipping methods are not available. We apologize for any inconvenience.

All other States: UPS Ground 4-8 business days
