The impeccable 2022 The Tribe Vineyard Syrah is an intensely captivating expression of this singular site … it immediately commands attention with an intoxicating nose of smoked duck, black olive brine, and dried violets, underscored by wild blueberry preserves, roasted fennel, and a whisper of crushed coriander. The palate is both supple and commanding, unfolding with layers of dark cherry, braised short rib, and a saline-driven minerality that speaks to the vineyard’s stony origins. Silky tannins provide structure while the wine’s natural acidity imparts vibrancy, keeping its deep concentration beautifully balanced. As it evolves in the glass, hints of black cardamom and iron-rich earth add further complexity. An amazing edition of this wine ... Hoisin sauce and BBQ beef rib aromatics parade with shades of lavender, bay leaf and rich boysenberry fruits on the nose. The palate is polished and soft with a seamless texture and excellent sense of weight despite the coolness of the vintage. Your wines will be shipped by us in perfect condition and any damage incurred due to weather is not covered by the shipping company insurance, or guaranteed by us. We will gladly store your wine in our temperature-controlled cellar until the weather is more suitable for shipping.
