The 2023 Familiar Air is a blend of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Malbec, the Familiar Air 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon reveals a deep purple hue as well as classic notes of cassis, graphite, sweet earth, and floral nuances. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, with nicely integrated oak, ripe tannins, and beautiful purity, this is an impressive release that will benefit from 2-3 years of bottle age and should have 15-20 years of overall longevity. It's going to be a brilliant value that should be snatched up by readers.
