Don Julio 1942 'Year of The Snake' Añejo Tequila is a limited-edition release that celebrates the Chinese Zodiac's Year of the Snake in 2025. Originating from the Jalisco highlands in Mexico, this ultra-premium añejo tequila embodies the rich legacy of Don Julio. It is aged for a minimum of two and a half years in American white oak barrels, resulting in a deep amber hue with golden reflections. The spirit is crafted from 100% blue Weber agave, showcasing the brand's commitment to traditional methods and artisanal craftsmanship. The bottle’s unique design pays homage to the Snake, a symbol of wisdom, transformation, and strength.
On the nose, this tequila reveals a luxurious bouquet of caramelized vanilla, rich toffee, and toasted oak, with subtle hints of tropical fruits and warm spices. The palate is a silky blend of roasted agave, creamy butterscotch, and sweet chocolate notes, further enriched by layers of vanilla, almonds, and tropical nuances. Please be aware that extreme cold or heat can cause damage to wine. If temperatures in your area are below freezing or above 80 degrees for a sustained period of time, please advise us to hold your wine until the weather is milder, or to upgrade to an expedited shipping method.
Your wines will be shipped by us in perfect condition and any damage incurred due to weather is not covered by the shipping company insurance, or guaranteed by us. We will gladly store your wine in our temperature-controlled cellar until the weather is more suitable for shipping.
Due to the increasing difficulty of shipping wine & spirits, shipments may take longer than expected, and expedited shipping methods are not available. We apologize for any inconvenience.
