BALVENIE 14 YEAR COLLECTION OF CURIOUS CASK AMERICAN BOURBON BARREL SINGLE MALT SCOTCH WHISKY 750ml
The Balvenie Stories series continues with the Collection of Curious Casks. This latest collection explores the collaborative efforts of Malt Master, Kelsey Mckechnie, and Samples Coordinator, George Paterson, demonstrating their skill in identifying casks that exhibit extraordinary merits in the vast warehouses of Balvenie. This entry in the series highlights a parcel of casks that were originally destined to be in the Single Barrel 12 Year Old. However, upon tasting, a distinct peaty profile to the whisky was detected, despite the malt used not being peated at all. It was found that residues in the distilling equipment after a peated run had imparted a subtle smoky profile to the spirit! Resulting in this wholly unique "collection of curious casks". The whisky was aged further and bottled after a minimum of 14 years of maturation, giving bright and crisp citrus and toffee, with soft notes of smoldering wood and earth.

Please be aware that extreme cold or heat can cause damage to wine. If temperatures in your area are below freezing or above 80 degrees for a sustained period of time, please advise us to hold your wine until the weather is milder, or to upgrade to an expedited shipping method.
Your wines will be shipped by us in perfect condition and any damage incurred due to weather is not covered by the shipping company insurance, or guaranteed by us. We will gladly store your wine in our temperature-controlled cellar until the weather is more suitable for shipping.
Due to the increasing difficulty of shipping wine & spirits, shipments may take longer than expected, and expedited shipping methods are not available. We apologize for any inconvenience.
