Aberfeldy celebrates over a century of craftsmanship from the famed Aberfeldy Distillery, founded in 1898 by John Dewar & Sons in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. Nestled along the banks of the Pitilie Burn—renowned for its gold-rich waters—Aberfeldy has long been prized for producing smooth, honeyed single malts that embody both tradition and finesse. This rare 25-year-old expression was specially crafted to commemorate the distillery’s 125th anniversary, showcasing whisky aged in refill hogsheads before being finished in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks from Jerez, Spain.
The result is a luxuriously rich and complex dram. Tasting notes reveal a deep nose of honeycomb, dried fruits, figs, and dark chocolate, lifted by hints of cinnamon and toasted almonds. On the palate, layers of sherried fruitcake, black cherries, and roasted hazelnuts intertwine with soft oak, leather, and sweet spice. The finish is long and warming, with lingering notes of vanilla toffee and gentle nutmeg.
Bottled at 46% ABV, natural color, and non-chill-filtered, this limited edition release boasts both purity and intensity. Only a select number of bottles were produced, making it a coveted collector’s item.
While Aberfeldy is widely known for accolades on its core range—including gold medals at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition—this anniversary release further cements its legacy as a distillery of elegance and heritage.

Please be aware that extreme cold or heat can cause damage to wine. If temperatures in your area are below freezing or above 80 degrees for a sustained period of time, please advise us to hold your wine until the weather is milder, or to upgrade to an expedited shipping method.
Your wines will be shipped by us in perfect condition and any damage incurred due to weather is not covered by the shipping company insurance, or guaranteed by us. We will gladly store your wine in our temperature-controlled cellar until the weather is more suitable for shipping.
Due to the increasing difficulty of shipping wine & spirits, shipments may take longer than expected, and expedited shipping methods are not available. We apologize for any inconvenience.
