Veeder Estate Vineyard has brilliant black fruits, tobacco, iron, and subtle smoke-like nuances in a full-bodied, concentrated, layered package. This is pure Mountain Cabernet genius, and while it's far from unapproachable today, it will benefit from 3-5 years of bottle age. It's up with the crème de la crème of the vintage and should be snatched up by readers."

It's wonderfully perfumed, with floral-herbal notes reminiscent of violets and sage accenting cassis and black raspberry-chocolate chip ice cream, yet without any trace of actual sweetness. Full-bodied and concentrated, it's nevertheless fresh and vibrant, with a long finish framed by softly dusty tannins. Wow!"...While the Pulido-Walker estate vineyard is on Mount Veeder, the wines are now made at Mending Wall Winery, a facility Mark Pulido and Donna Walker co-own with winemaking consultant Thomas Rivers Brown and former Outpost proprietor Frank Dotzler. The focus is on Cabernets from three single vineyards: Mt. Veeder, Policy (Yountville) and Melanson (Pritchard Hill).
Proprietors Mark Pulido & Donna Walker started Pulido-Walker in 2010 with single vineyard Cabernet Sauvignons from the Panek Vineyard in St. Helena and the Melanson Vineyard on Pritchard Hill. Their young estate vineyard on Mt. Veeder is the newest addition to the lineup. The winemaker is the legendary Thomas Rivers Brown.

Please be aware that extreme cold or heat can cause damage to wine. If temperatures in your area are below freezing or above 80 degrees for a sustained period of time, please advise us to hold your wine until the weather is milder, or to upgrade to an expedited shipping method.
Your wines will be shipped by us in perfect condition and any damage incurred due to weather is not covered by the shipping company insurance, or guaranteed by us. We will gladly store your wine in our temperature-controlled cellar until the weather is more suitable for shipping.
Due to the increasing difficulty of shipping wine & spirits, shipments may take longer than expected, and expedited shipping methods are not available. We apologize for any inconvenience.
