Isojiman Brewery, nestled along the coast of Shizuoka Prefecture, combines seaside terroir with elite rice craftsmanship in its “50” Junmai Daiginjo. This sake is crafted from 100 % AAA-grade Yamada Nishiki rice—sourced from the prestigious Tojo region in Hyogo—and polished to 50 %, revealing pristine purity and finesse. The brewery’s proprietary yeast and gentle, medium-soft well water drawn from Mount Aino further distinguish this Junmai Daiginjo, imparting a seamless balance between regional character and technical precision. The emerald bottle and minimalist presentation reflect Isojiman’s philosophy: highlight the rice and place, not flashy design.
On the nose, Isojiman 50 greets you with delicate aromas of strawberry blossoms, anisette, and white peach, evolving into notes of Asian pear, guava, and musk melon. The palate is lush, smooth, and full—with flavors of cherry popsicle, melon, and pear compote riding on a clean, mineral-tinged finish that evokes gentle sea spray. With an SMV around +3, acidity at 1.3, and ABV between 15–16%, it walks the line between elegance and body. Its versatility shines paired with refined seafood—oysters, sashimi, tokoro (toro tuna), Kanpachi—or creamy cheeses and light salads. Serve chilled at 10–12 °C to fully appreciate its floral complexity and refined umami, making each sip feel both refreshing and provocatively layered.

Please be aware that extreme cold or heat can cause damage to wine. If temperatures in your area are below freezing or above 80 degrees for a sustained period of time, please advise us to hold your wine until the weather is milder, or to upgrade to an expedited shipping method.
Your wines will be shipped by us in perfect condition and any damage incurred due to weather is not covered by the shipping company insurance, or guaranteed by us. We will gladly store your wine in our temperature-controlled cellar until the weather is more suitable for shipping.
Due to the increasing difficulty of shipping wine & spirits, shipments may take longer than expected, and expedited shipping methods are not available. We apologize for any inconvenience.
