Tasting Notes

The nose is inviting and complex, with pronounced aromas of ripe, lush red fruit, dark plum, and violet high tones. The oak influences are evident, with hints of mocha and vanilla creme adding a touch of sweetness and depth to the bouquet. On the palate, you'll find flavors of dark cherry, mixed berries, and blueberry pie. The tannins in this wine are plush and concentrated, with a soft, chewy nature. Warm caramel notes add an indulgent sweetness and length to the finish.

60% Cabernet Sauvignon / 15% Syrah / 17% Malbec / 8% Petit Verdot

Winemaker Notes

Our all star blend, and one of our favorite wines to produce. This blend flaunts many of the lovely features found in our single varietal wines, such as our Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, and Syrah wines. However, it's the culmination of these varietals and Stagecoach Petite Verdot that yields such an approachable yet complex wine. Most of this blend is comprised of Cabernet Sauvignon, which is responsible for the ripe cherry & plum flavors as well as the rich and concentrated mouthfeel. The Syrah folds in dark fruit, mixed berry & toffee aromatics with a fleshy yummy tannin. The Malbec offers up gobs of blue fruit and violet aromatics with a sweeter plush tannin. The Malbec and Syrah tannin help to round out the Cabernet Sauvignon tannin and make it that much more approachable. Lastly & often added sparingly because of its intensity, we blend in Petite Verdot to bolster the backbone and introduce a darker, more brooding fruit character. It's thanks to this array of blenders that we're able to achieve a wine so approachable and complex.

Your wines will be shipped by us in perfect condition and any damage incurred due to weather is not covered by the shipping company insurance, or guaranteed by us. We will gladly store your wine in our temperature-controlled cellar until the weather is more suitable for shipping.
