Founded in 1838, Maison Roullet-Fransac has a long and illustrious history of producing fine French Cognacs. Eager to make their own mark in this world-famous region, they developed a whole new expression in their Bauchant Orange Liqueur. Totally unique when it was introduced in the 1970s, it is still one of the only orange liqueurs made in Cognac.
The recipe for Bauchant Orange Liqueur has remained unchanged for over 50 years. Artfully crafted exclusively from premium-quality ingredients, the liqueur is made with only VS and VSOP Cognacs, as well as a proprietary blend of orange essences from Curaçao that imparts great complexity and depth to the spirit — a market differentiator, as most other orange liqueurs rely on only one type of orange. This level of quality consciousness continues in the distillery, where the triple-distilled, aged cognac bases are carefully blended to achieve the final spirit.
Bauchant Orange Liqueur was exported to the U.S. not long after it was first conceived — it was one of the first orange liqueurs to hit the market and has become a staple in upscale cocktail bars and restaurants. Bauchant has also impressed the critics, winning 90+ point scores and gold medals from the Ultimate Spirits Challenge, Wine Enthusiast, and the Los Angeles International Spirits Competition.
With its fresh, light, and sweet-citrus flavor profile, Bauchant Orange Liqueur is delicious all on its own. For the mixologist, it’s also a delicious addition to Margaritas, Cosmopolitans, Mai Tais, Side Cars, and myriad other cocktails. However it’s poured and enjoyed, Bauchant Orange Liqueur — in its trademark, towering bottle — stands out for its innovative origins, unique recipe, and premium quality.

* SHIPPING WINE IN COLD or WARM WEATHER
Please be aware that extreme cold or heat can cause damage to wine. If temperatures in your area are below freezing or above 80 degrees for a sustained period of time, please advise us to hold your wine until the weather is milder, or to upgrade to an expedited shipping method.
Your wines will be shipped by us in perfect condition and any damage incurred due to weather is not covered by the shipping company insurance, or guaranteed by us. We will gladly store your wine in our temperature-controlled cellar until the weather is more suitable for shipping.
Due to the increasing difficulty of shipping wine & spirits, shipments may take longer than expected, and expedited shipping methods are not available. We apologize for any inconvenience.
