“The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon d’Adamo Vineyard comes from a site in the foothills of Atlas Peak and is described as her most hedonistic wine by Monticelli. I can’t disagree, yet it also offers plenty of intellectual fireworks as well and reveals a deep purple color and sexy notes of black fruits, licorice, new saddle leather, and assorted herbs, earthy notes. With a plush, rounded, sumptuous texture, sweet tannins, and terrific overall balance, it’s another remarkable wine from this estate that can be drunk today with ample pleasure or cellared for two decades or more. I loved these latest releases from winemaker Anna Monticelli, who’s worked with the likes of Philippe Melka at Bryant Family and Seavey before that. All these wines are single vineyard releases and 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. It’s worth pointing out that since their debut, Anna has never raised prices on her wines which, as I hope these reviews show, are outstanding across the board. (Drink between 2019-2039) “

Your wines will be shipped by us in perfect condition and any damage incurred due to weather is not covered by the shipping company insurance, or guaranteed by us. We will gladly store your wine in our temperature-controlled cellar until the weather is more suitable for shipping.
Due to the increasing difficulty of shipping wine & spirits, shipments may take longer than expected, and expedited shipping methods are not available. We apologize for any inconvenience.
