Winemaker Notes
The wine’s aromas and flavors feature a deep, succulent core of wild berries, red and black cherry, olive tapenade, truffle, and woodsy underbrush. There’s obvious concentration in a medium-bodied style, with diverse coastal notes of iodine and kelp. It maintains vibrancy alongside its powerful fruit core and finishes long and expansive. Lovely wine. Drink between late 2026 and 2038.

Bright, fresh aromas of wild raspberries, lavender and barely ripe blackberries. Just medium-bodied with crisp acidity and flavors of tangerine peel, cardamom and toasted spices. Quite delicious.

The 2024 Pinot Noir Ryan comes from the Jentoft (57%) and Widdoes (43%) vineyards and matured in around one-third new French oak. It has compelling scents of black cherry, blueberry, blood orange, nori and flint. The full-bodied palate unfurls slowly to reveal dark, earth- and spice-laced flavors. It’s structured by polished tannins and bright acidity and has a very long, layered finish. It opens dramatically with air and will benefit from a few years in the cellar.

The 2024 Pinot Noir Ryan is a blend of Widdoes and Jentoft. The wilder, gamier side of Pinot comes through loud and clear. Please be aware that extreme cold or heat can cause damage to wine. If temperatures in your area are below freezing or above 80 degrees for a sustained period of time, please advise us to hold your wine until the weather is milder, or to upgrade to an expedited shipping method.
Your wines will be shipped by us in perfect condition and any damage incurred due to weather is not covered by the shipping company insurance, or guaranteed by us. We will gladly store your wine in our temperature-controlled cellar until the weather is more suitable for shipping.
Due to the increasing difficulty of shipping wine & spirits, shipments may take longer than expected, and expedited shipping methods are not available. We apologize for any inconvenience.
